Alex was once an ecologist and is now a registered nutritional therapist. She is passionate about real foods, and loves to see people ‘get it’ and succeed in establishing a new way of eating. She lives on her own smallholding with her husband , two sons, and a large and productive veggie patch.
Aurora is a scientist and mother of 4 young boys. No amount of healthy eating and exercise seemed to shift her baby weight, but she lost 30lbs when she discovered the low carb way of eating. She has been helping others succeed ever since.
Caroline is incredibly friendly and helpful, as well as being an inspiring role model and an expert on the science of fasting, nutrition and weight loss. She discovered intermittent fasting after many years of struggling with conventional diets. By following intermittent fasting she was able to lose 40kg (88lb) over about 18 months and has been maintaining now for 3 years. She was a research scientist and medical writer for 25 years, and has done a LOT of research on the science of fasting, which in turn lead to a fascination with nutrition and weight loss and prompted her to return to University to study Nutritional Therapy.
Ruth is a nutritional therapist. She is also a food blogger, mother of one and a passionate foodie. She has always loved cooking (and eating!) but it was time spent living in Melbourne, with all of its glorious fresh produce, that really cemented her interest in healthy living and nutrition. Having been a serial yoyo dieter in the past she understands the pain of reaching a goal weight, only to slip back into old habits and for the weight to creep back on. Her interest is in developing a healthy relationship between nutrition and the body, for life.

Alix grew up in France where family meals of home-made and nutritious food, cooked by her mother every day shaped her love for real food from an early age. Then, later on, baffled by the abundance of conflicting nutrition advice, she decided to study a degree in nutrition and health so that she could practise her passion and help others based on a real scientific background.

Yvonne’s love of nutrition was ignited in the home economics class at school, after a childhood of fussy eating. She become a nutritionist following a stint as a food technologist, whose nutritional sound bites were often sought by popular magazines. When it comes to nutrition Yvonne believes that we need to keep it simple, keep it natural but above all, we need to love our food. In her view it is great food that keeps our mind, body and spirit looking and feeling great. Yvonne lives in Barnes, loves yoga and cycles everywhere.

Having worked with the likes of Footballer Cesc Fabregas, Masterchef’s Gregg Wallace, The Detox Kitchen, Transition Zone and Olympic athletes, she is fully qualified in offering advice from weight loss and detox programmes to high performance training programmes.
